Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services Inc. is a provider of Inline and Tethered MFL inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators, currently servicing the North American market. Onstream is now accepting applications for the position of Canadian Data Analysis Manager (Inline Inspection, Free Swim) at our Calgary location!

Essential Functions

  • Managing day to day operations of the MFL Free swim analysis team
  • Prioritizing work load and managing timelines for completion of report deliverables
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality for all deliverables
  • Reviewing, approving and delivering all analysis and reports (includes Data Quality Assessments, Preliminary, and Final Reporting)
  • Interpreting MFL, Geometry and Inertial mapping pipeline inspection data
  • Correlating analysis results to other inspection data and producing unity plots
  • Challenging the status quo and participating in internal continuous improvement processes
  • Interfacing with clients and communicating analysis findings, providing support for excavations, field assessment, and feedback of correlation results/findings
  • Competency development of Analysis team members, through goal setting and performance reviews
  • Leading, developing and maintaining training materials and ongoing initiatives meeting API 1163 and ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ-2017 requirements as part of a comprehensive competency management system
  • Contributing to the continuing development and maintenance of an API 1163 compliant quality management system
  • Tracking and reporting of key analysis KPIs including on time delivery, first time right and analysis efficiency

Education & Experience Required

  • Degree or diploma in a related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Level III MFL Analyst
  • Experience with Geometry analysis and assessment
  • Experience with IMU analysis, mapping software and GIS systems
  • 10+ year’s equivalent data analysis, people management experience
