Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services is a provider of inline inspection services to pipeline operators in North America. Due to continued growth within the Team, Onstream is now accepting applications for the position of Account Manager, in Calgary.

The Account Manager is primarily responsible for both establishing new clients and effectively maintaining existing client relationships. This role will collaborate with the business to ensure a clear understanding of opportunities and threats that will impact client relationships, and then proactively manage the client to promote client retention and revenue maximization. The Account Manager is the key point person for proactive and strategic client management relating to pricing strategy and project management/follow-up.

Responsibilities Include

  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and profits
  • Maintain strong key client relationships ensuring retention and revenue maximization
  • Promote Onstream’s state of the art technology solutions and exceptional service to the industry
  • Collaborate with business development to gain external market intelligence and internally with technical sales to stay abreast of service offerings that will beneficially impact clients
  • Proactively manage client relationships relating to pricing strategy and project management/follow-up
  • Build, develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that align with and meet Onstream’s core values
  • Organize/manage client dashboards, communicate clearly ongoing progress toward targets
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Required

  • Relevant post secondary education
  • 5-10 years full cycle sales experience
  • 2-5 years experience within the pipeline inspection industry or a similar oilfield services industry
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and listening
  • Valid Class 5 AB Driver License or equivalent
  • Experience working within Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
  • Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels
  • Proactive, persuasive, and persistent
  • Demonstrates integrity and accountability with clients and coworkers
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Consummate team-player
  • Ability to partner with and work closely with the senior management team
