Onstream Pipeline Inspection is a provider of inline and tethered MFL inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators, currently servicing the North American market. Expansion in the USA market is ongoing with execution of field and analysis activities through our facility located in Houston, Texas. Due to recent growth Onstream is now accepting applications for the position of Project Manager (USA).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
– Schedules personnel, trucks and tools for all projects (tether and free swimming inline inspections)
– Ensures appropriate number of staff , personnel training and equipment for projects
– Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational, safety and personnel policies
– Client liaison on projects, in collaboration with Sales Team, Shop and Field personnel
– Ensures completion of projects within in time and budget constraints
– Understands and implements all Government Legislations
– Ensures adherence to all quality standards within field work
Pipeline Technical Assessments, ability to:
– Assess pipeline feasibility for inspection
– Identify and mitigate risks related to inspection
– Work closely with client to recommend operating parameters to obtain a successful inspection
– Make a go-no-go call on gauge tool runs
– Provide recommendations on changing pipeline conditions once staff reaches the field
– Handle after hours calls with little support from operations team
– Apply strong knowledge on pipeline hardware and configurations
Operations Administration responsibilities:
– Pre-project paperwork prep
– Reviews paperwork with crew prior to field departure and forwards to Analysis upon completion
– Prepares weekly subsistence paperwork for accounting on behalf of field personnel
Other:
– Provides ongoing training and support for new and current personnel
– Attends weekly operations meetings
– Travels to the field, as required, when crew is short or to oversee and review field work
– Conducts incident investigations related to field and/or shop work, as required
– Participates in operations recruiting activities
– Other duties as required
Education, Experience, and Certifications
– 5+ years equivalent field experience, including experience running pipeline inspection tools
– High School Diploma
– Degree or diploma in a related field (asset); or equivalent experience
– Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
– First Aid Training, Basic Plus
– Valid Clas C Texas Driver License (or equivalent) with clean driving record
– Valid Passport with ability to travel (preferred)
