Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services Inc. is a provider of Inline and Tethered MFL inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators, currently servicing the North American market. Onstream is now accepting applications for the position of Wireline Operator based in Calgary. This is an oilfield driver position.

Essential Functions

  • Drive, operate and maintain wireline truck and support equipment
  • Maintain project based records
  • Assist in field operations, launching and receiving inspection tools
  • Assist in rigging in and out of locations
  • Interface with clients onsite
  • Troubleshoot tools and equipment
  • Maintain proper tools and supplies as needed for field operations
  • Assist Field Technicians with inspection and inspection tool maintenance
  • Work schedule: 15 days on/6 days off; extensive travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Current Safety Tickets Required Include but are not limited to

  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid and CPR
  • CSTS or PST

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Valid class 1 or 3Q license (Required); with a driver record meeting company policies and procedures
  • Minimum of 3+ Years’ Oilfield Driving Experience with 18-speed standard transmission
  • 2+ Years’ experience operating a wireline winch unit (asset)
  • Wireline Operation (open or cased hole preferred)
  • Other relevant driving experience as: hydrovac, pressure tank, coil-tubing, fracking, cement, refuse, swamp, slickline or swabbing
